Lasers are an exact, high-speed, computer controlled alternative to stamping, cutting or processing by other means. Our precise, computer controlled lasers focus light energy into an extremely thin cutting beam. Because the laser is a non-contact tool, it quickly and repeatedly cuts intricate designs and shapes, minimizing chances of contamination and errors.

WHY ARE LASERS BETTER?

The laser’s cutting capability is not limited by material hardness or surface contours. You have the advantage of both speed and precision with a large variety of materials. Because we have saved time and reduced costs associated with conventional drilling methods, we have proven that high tech does not mean high cost. L.E.F., INC. can process a variety of materials from large sheets to discrete parts in prototype or production quantities. Our lasers not only cut material but they can also laser etch any information you may need on your part during the laser cutting process.

Perhaps you never considered laser processing because you were unaware of the lasers versatility or maybe you though it was too expensive. We are constantly developing new applications that process an ever widening range of materials. Our Drafting department will import your drawing, or the drawing we create (based off of your geometry), directly into our computer for prototype or production processing. We can import any CAD file type… for example, DXF, DWG, SLDDRW, IGES… etc.
